Plot[]

This section needs a rewrite

While Louis may be one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Deep down in his heart, he loved gangster movies, immigrants fighting for the American dream, and even running away with his wife from the police. He would do anything for his family.

One week earlier, Louis wanted to show to his family a new billboard he put up to promote the restaurant. Jessica wasn't enthusiactic about the idea since he she noticed it was taking awhile to get there, and Louis could have put it up on a location that's closer. But Louis explained that he has to be strategic and proceeds to set the scene for his family. He placed the billboard on the longest red light with no buildings in sight. A homeless man with a dead bird is there to let others know he's hungry. So you then look up to the right, and there's the billboard! The family was impressed, especially with the cow that Louis lifted up for the sign.

Meanwhile, Eddie has been dealing with a serious issue at his school: The school bus. Compared to school, its an absolute nightmare! With kids constantly fighting or causing a ruckus on the bus. Even though the bus driver is there, he couldn't care less to stop the fighting. Eddie explains that all the sixth graders were left to fend for themselves, and if they want to survive, they have to sit up front and pretend to be asleep till their stop arrives. One sixth grader even learned the hard way when he decided to sit at the back, only for his lighthouse project to be destroyed. But the one thing Eddie does love about the bus ride is that he can see his neighbor, and love interest: Nicole. But she doesn't like him back, nor does her friend.

At Cattleman's, things are finally looking up for the resturant. Customers have been coming in because of that billboard sign and even Jessica is even happy the sign as well. She lets Louis knows that people have been talking to her about the sign, and even some let her cut in line at the grocery store. But the best part is that they got invited to Chamber of Commerce charity-fundrasing event. Jessica expresses how much she has been wanting to go to a country club because of the movie; Caddyshack. Though for Louis, he has to lecture Mitch about what terms he has to use to describe certain dishes they serve. This doesn't please him and he explains that he could take his business to another place.

The next day, Eddie noticed that Nicole's friend is not there and figures he should try to talk to her. But his friends Dave and Trent advise against it. But Eddie wants to gain some confidence and show her his true self. He wants Nicole to listen to Ice Cube's Parental Advisory album. He even imagines that it would be a magical moment when he gives it to her. Though when he goes back there, he came back pantsless.

While trying to get back home, he was thinking about what could he do to get Nicole to notice him and how to get one on one time with her. After over-hearing two boys get off on a car-pool, he realized he can ask Nicole to join him and his family to school.

At home, Jessica is getting help from Honey on what dress she should wear for the country club. Eddie quickly comes into the room and asks Jessica if he can stop riding the bus and have her drive him to school. She quickly agrees to this and Eddie asks Honey if Nicole can car-pool with them the next day, and she agrees to ask.

The next morning, he forces his brothers Evan and Emery to the back, and begs his father not to do anything embarrassing while driving to school. Jessica comes in and lets Eddie know that Nicole declined the offer and instead invited one of his classmates named Mark to join. As their driving to school, Louis decides to go back to the billboard. But when they look up, the family was left in shock as the billboard has been vandalized. The vandalizer sprayed the sign to make it seem like the cow is squirting milk all over Louis. The family pulls over and inform a police officer about the incident, to which the officer lets them know they will clean it up. Evan isn't happy that they have to pull over because he's worried that his "Always there bear" will be taken away. Eddie decides that the car-pool isn't going to work out and goes back to the bus. Though, Emery lets Eddie know that Nicole would be coming over that night.

Later that night, Eddie tries to impress Nicole when she arrives. But his attempts were immediately put on hold, when he finds out that she is here to babysit the boys. Eddie asks his mom why is Grandma not babysitting for them, and she explains that Jenny will charge a lot for babysitting. Just before Louis and Jessica leaves to go to the country club, they set some ground rules for Nicole to follow. While we won't mention them all, but Louis does tell Nicole that Eddie has "gentle bowels" and can only eat bland food. After that, the two were off to the country club.

During the drive, Jessica happily compliments Louis for getting this far with the resturant. But before he can say anything back to her, they just so happened to drive past the billboard sign. And they find out the sign was vandalized again! But this time, the vandalizer sprayed the words: "Thief" on the sign. Jessica believes its a hate crime and their getting targeted. But Louis brushes it off as some random kids. But Jessica claims if that's true, then they would have hit the Hoagie King billboard instead.

Back at the house, Eddie tries once again to impress Nicole and pretend that she is co-babysitting with him. He tries once again to make Nicole listen to the CD, but she recieves a phone call from a guy she knows. Later on, the four of them had some dinner. Eddie then starts pouring hot sauce onto his noodles to impress Nicole again. Despite his condition, he pours in a lot! This proves to be a mistake, as Eddie ends up in the bathroom with stomach issues for the rest of the night.

At the country club, everyone is enjoying their dinner, except for Louis. Jessica complains to the others that whoever is doing this doesn't want to see them suceed. So Honey suggested that they can speak to the council man at a nearby table. But before she could do so, Louis quickly stops her and decides to show Jessica the truth. He takes her to the Golden Saddle and at first, she believes they copy them. But in reality, its the opposite...It turns out Louis wanted to buy a Golden Saddle franchise, but he didn't have enough money. And the owner, Finnegan needed the money immediately. Left with no other choice, Louis lies to Finnegan claiming he needs to pee, and decided to take the manual with him and jump out the window to start Cattleman's.

He didn't tell Jessica until now because he wanted her to think he was a visionary. But Jessica wasn't upset by this and claims he that he was smart to do so. She explains that she would rather take a businessman than a visionary. Not only that, Louis was unique in some things and still managed to do a great job with the resturant. But their moment was ruined when Finnegan shows up and calls him out for stealing his franchise. He's upset over the fact that Louis is starting to gain success, and even retaliates by stealing Mitch! While this shocked the two, they brush it off immediately and lets Finnegan know that they will have their revenge!

Louis and Jessica manage to get their revenge. They decided to vandalize the Golden Saddle sign to have Finnegan say: "I'm a butt" on it. Even though the night didn't go as planned, Jessica still agreed the night was fun until the cops started chasing after them. The two of them arrive back home looking dishelveled, but quickly blame the reason why they're late was because of a neighbor's dog. They thank Nicole for looking after the boys and Nicole lets them know about Eddie's bathroom problem, and she will keep the CD Eddie wanted her to listen.

The next day, Nicole comes onto the bus and says hi to Eddie for once. She sits in her usual seat but happily places on some headphones while listening to some music on the CD Eddie wanted her to listen to. Eddie happily closes his eyes knowing he finally got Nicole's attention.

Quotes[]

Louis: What's your problem? Your restaurant's busy. You own 10 franchises. You're doing great.
Finnegan: And you are doing well, which I don't like.
Jessica: You're just upset because Louis didn't pay your ridiculous franchise fee. He is a smarter businessman than you are.
Finnegan: Oh, you think so? Then how come I stole his favorite employee? Mitchell!
Louis: Mitch?
Mitch: Oh. Uh, sorry, guys.
Louis: How could you do this? We were a family.
Mitch: He offered to double my salary. But, I mean, if you guys want to do that...
Louis and Jessica: Goodbye forever, Mitch.
