Theme song title

The Fresh Off the Boat Theme Song is a song sung by Danny Brown. It is a mixture between enka and rap: two genres of music, originating from the Asian and African-American culture, respectively. The song was written primarily for public radio, but was soon delivered to the Fresh Off the Boat ABC TV series. A shortened version of the song plays at the beginning if every episode of Fresh Off the Boat, mainly after a short scene about one minute into the episode.

Lyrics[]

Fresh off the boat!
You can tell the way I wear my clothes,
that I'm fresher than a sync from a rock.
Fresh off the boat!
You can tell the way I wear my glow,
that I shine anywhere around the globe.
Fresh off the boat!
Get in mind, everywhere I go,
So if I don't know homie, I don't know.
Fresh off the boat!
And homie, I demand my respect.
Everywhere I go, I wreck myself.
Fresh off the boat!
Homie, you don't know where I come from,
but I know where I'm going.
Fresh off the boat!
Homie, you don't know where I come from,
but I know where I'm going.
Fresh off the boat!

Trivia[]
